The Garden Angel Costume

This costume is worn by daughter, Londyn Skidmore age 7. We chose to be a Garden Angel this year because she loves angels!
I used foam boards for each wing because we needed something sturdy, cut out poster board for the actual feathers and Foam pipes for the wing outlining. We cut out an old backpack and zip tied the the wings to the straps, making it easy for her to carry around.
For the skirt I bought 5 yards of white material from Walmart and hooked a hanger through the bottom to give it the flow effect.
For the wig, I used one of her beanies and individually glued pieces of yarn to it.
Finally, I dug our one of my old shirts and safety pinned the front over the chest so it looked like a robe.
I finished this off with heavy gray spray paint and mixed in some lighter gray paint as well!
