The Caped Crusader Costume

He's been called many things: The Caped Crusader, The Dark Knight, The World's Greatest Detective, or Batman. My name is Jacob and I'm the one wearing the costume. I made the costume from materials that I had and it's from scratch. The idea came from my love of DC and in particular Batman. I got inspired from all the films as well. This isn't just any Batman costume but Mr. Freeze edition. As far as how to goes, I kind of just did things as I went along. It was alot of trial and error. This is the final version of the costume and has many parts to it. The materials are mainly denim, cardboard, windbreaker jackets, plastic, and varying fabrics. Everything is from scratch, even the bat symbol. The pecks are paper bag with oil pastel. The cowl is made from a black windbreaker jacket, two pieces of black cloth, two custom bat ears that I made, two small triangular pieces that I made for the pointy nose, black eyeliner, and black electrical tape. The costume is pretty complicated but that's at least a few things about it. The bottom line is I wanted to do a costume that reflects something I liked. I think it turned out well considering. I'm vengeance! I'm Batman!
