The Alien Ambassador from Mars Attacks! Costume

I'm Sydney Rummell, and I hand made this entire costume. My inspiration is from the movie Mars Attacks!, and I felt compelled to do this because I am an artist who loves stylized, scary monsters with a hint of humor. The head is predominantly paper mache, but I work with a lot of repourposed, recycled, and found materials, so there are many scraps incorporated. It is all my design from top to bottom. I only spent around 35 dollars total on my costume, which was spent on the 2 capes that I rigged together for my outfit, and the morph suit underneath. This is actually more than I typically spend because I usually thrift everything that I can't build or make, but it was impossible this year.
