This homemade costume for boys entered our 2020 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Nia, the 'Sushi Chef' costume creator:
Overall it took 7hours to create this custom Halloween costum. The black material came from a mom & pop store in down town la garment district, it was $2 a yard. I only needed 2yards. The red thin material comes from the same place in a local store in down town la, it cost $3 a yards. I had got one yard of the black&white checker cotton material. I used the current clothes he wears to size his pants and shirt. I had added elastic to his pants so they could fit him correctly. I sewed with black thread that cost $5. Custom iron on patch comes from eBay for $3.
