This homemade costume for couples entered our 2018 Halloween Costume Contest,
A word from Jen, the 'Super Mario Sista's' costume creator:
My BFF and I hit up the dollar store for almost everything. Toy machine guns, toilet plungers, a box, yellow cardboard paper and black and orange markers, red and green paint, bandanas, slippers and socks were all purchased under one roof where everything is $1 (or you know a couple bucks maybe). We got the flannels and pants (which we cut/sowed into shorts) and white t-shirts from H & M. Super easy costume to make and comfortable for a night out in search of 1ups!
