Sonic the Hedgehog and Tails Costume

Our children are wearing a Sonic the hedgehog costume and Tails the fox. They are mostly hand made. I started with footsie hooded pjs used the hood as a hat/mask. hand sewn eyes.(fleece with iron on vinyl eyes) hand sewn mouth (fleece with iron on details) hand sewn ears, and spikes. all patterns hand made belly and Cuffs are fleece sewn on all spikes hand sewn. . Tails costume is our 2 year old. the hat is not home made it is from great eastern company. the belly is felt sewn on hand cut. the tails are homemade. I made my own patterns. I have never made a costume before this was my first. cost was aprox 60$ each costume. my son loves sonic and with the new popularity back on the rise the costumes were mediocre or not sized right. It only
felt right to
make my
own. we googled ideas and found them
on pintrist mostly and I just went from
there just improved where I wanted. spikes and tails are stuffed like pillows kind of heavy so would stuff less possibly. overall everyone loved the costume. the shoes were res sneakers found online and I added vinyl sticker to the so ic and glued felt fir tails sneakers.
