Sam the Pumpkin Head Costume

Sam or "Samhain", a fictional character created by Michael Dougherty, from the horror film Trick 'r Treat.
The costume was all hand made. The PJ's pattern was drafted and sewed together, booties was made as well with the same fabric. then I added some the detailed patches. The head was constructed out of a beach ball and then covered with burlap, completely stitched by head. I also made a sack and added fake blood to the bottom. The pumpkin lolipop was made with foam, stripe straw and then painted. I also made the Hollie Ho chocolate bar out of a big kit-kat work on photoshop to create the logo, printed it out and use clear tape to wrap around the chocolate. To create a child safety blade I used a silver cardboard type lid that is use form food storage. I had fun making this costume for my 9 year old.
