This homemade costume for women entered our 2020 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Sarah, the 'Salem' costume creator:
This costume comes from the anime RWBY and I chose it partially for the spooky vibes but also for the crafting challenge. I made this, modeled it, and took the photos myself. It features a wide range of techniques. The list includes: body paint, contouring, color contacts, basic and extreme wig styling, thermoplastic work, foam work, altering &drafting my own patterns, applique designs, fully lining a garment, hand-sewing trim, and working with interfacing/fusible webbing.
