Rosie the Riveter Costume

My 11 year old daughter and her friend came up with the idea to be Rosie the Riveter. The outfit was simple to put together, denim shirt, jeans, red socks, and boots. To accessorize we add the collar pin that we printed from the internet, spray painted a plastic box silver, and of course added the iconic red head scarf, and red lipstick. The board is made of posterboard and made to resemble, as closely as possible, the original poster. We attached the poster board like a backpack using light blue ribbon.
