Porcupine Costume

My son loves wild animals and wanted to be a porcupine. I made him a cape like costume out of black and silver fur. I cut black foam strips for quills and painted them with white stripes. I attached them with nylon thread and when I ran out of time, hot glue. I picked up a mask at a local costume store and attached quills to it. He wore black sweats and sweatshirt underneath the bodysuit cape thing. It was a big hit, but most importantly, my son loved it and felt like a gigantic porcupine.
