Pinata Costume

I found this idea on the internet but I wanted to go all out on it. I bought sweatpants and a zip up sweatshirt from Wal Mart as my suit. I used all different color streamers for the fringe. I would hot glue three rows of one color streamer, and then cut the streamers vertically to create the fringe look. I kept going up the sweatpants with different colors till I got to the waist band. When I hot glued the streamers on the waistband, I put a cardboard box in the waist part to stretch it out, so the hot glue wouldn't make the waist band stiff.

I did the same thing on the jacket with the alternating streamers. Also, I used party hats for my horns, and I put all different lengths of streamers together and tucked it into the back of my pants for a tail. It was time consuming, but definitely worth it!
