Peter Criss and his Drumset Costume

My boyfriend, Michael, is wearing the Peter Criss costume from KISS. Michael spent about 2 hours on his makeup and was very precise.

I am dressed as Peter Criss' drum set. My costume is homemade. I took an old black long sleeve shirt and cut the arms to look shaved. I also cut the collar and the shirt to provide a v-neck effect. Then I added beads and ribbon to the collar and the arm sleeves. For the drums, I took foam coasters for the two smaller drums, covered them with cloth and glued. For the base drum, I used a fabric type disc that had some stiffness to it (not sure what they are called) and covered with fabric as well. To finish the drums I glued ribbon to them. I went online and printed a KISS logo and glued to the front. For the symbol on my wrist, I used the fabric disc again and cut it down. I put fabric on it as well and also covered it with a flashy cover. In order to attach it to my wrist I glued a ribbon onto the symbol and put on as I would a bracelet. The fabric allowed me to safety pin my drums to my shirt.
