Pennywise Costume

My daughter Alanah couldn't wait to dress up and scare people as she tried coaxing people over by offering up a balloon. This movie inspired costume idea didn't disappoint. Becoming Pennywise in "IT" for Halloween was a blast, she said.
I pieced this homemade costume together with a plain gray shirt, gray ruffle capri's, long white socks, shoes, gloves, and a Queen Ann collar I already had at home. I then grabbed my art supplies and safety pinned 3 big red puff balls I had gotten in the arts section of a department store. For the shoes, I took 2 smaller puff balls and pinned them to them. I ordered the bald clown wig; slicked back her hair into a mid pony/bun and secured the wig to her head. Pieced toilet paper was liquid latexed to her face then white face paint was applied all over her face. I then carefully drew in the detailed lines with face pencils and popped in a pair of scary teeth ordered from online.
