This homemade costume for girls entered our 2020 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Kelly, the 'Peacock' costume creator:
Story Smith is wearing a peacock costume. She asked if I could make her one so I set out to figure something out. I bought peacock feathers, tulle, and ribbon. Cut a half circle out of cardboard and glued feathers on it to make the tail fan. Then got creative with adhering feathers to the shirt. I looked up on Pinterest how to make the tulle ribbon skirt. I think in total this cost about $50-$70
