This homemade costume for babies entered our 2016 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Lisa, the 'Owl' costume creator:
My grandson who is almost two. I just sort of made it up from faux fur and a feather boa. On each of the faux fur "feathers" I had to serge the sides so they wouldn't shed. That was a little time consuming. All I had to go by was my grandson's measurements as he does not live in the same town as we do. As far as the "claws" go I just went by his shoe size and drew up my own pattern. I hand sewed as well as machine sewed.
