This homemade costume for pets entered our 2017 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Diane, the 'Oscar the Grouch' costume creator:
Oscar is our rescued English Bulldog, and although he is the happiest little man ever, I made him an Oscar the Grouch costume. I made a pet sweatshirt out of green fur, making it a bit bigger, as the fur has no stretch. I also made the hood bigger. Then I cut white ovals our of felt, and black vinyl circles for the eyes. I purchased the garbage cans from Lowes.
