This homemade costume for babies entered our 2012 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Linda, the 'Oompa Loompa' costume creator:
My 15 month old son, Levi, is wearing a homemade Oompa Loompa costume from Willie Wonka's Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. I purchased a brown turtleneck, first aid tape, Pom poms, green hair color, orange and white face paint from Walmart for about $15. I had the white pants made for $5, however white sweatpants would work great as well. I also purchase white suspenders and brown legging from amazon for about $10. I used the first aid tape to make the stripes on the leggings, and around the neck and arms if the turtleneck. I used a picture of a Oompa Loompa from the movie as my guide to put this costume together and pant his face.
