Ms. Pacman Costume

I take Halloween very seriously so by January every year I'm already brainstorming ideas. So after a trip to the arcade with my family I found myself at a Ms. Pacman game with my little sister who has never even heard of Ms. Pacman and upon further inspection I knew that Ms. Pacman would be the perfect costume. I made the large hairbow by buying a yard of red fabric and folding and flying it into position. It didn't have enough structure so I inserted cardboard cutouts to help it keeps it shape and so that plus a lot of prayer kept it together lol. I also made the umbrella by cutting the ghosts outta fabric I bought from thrift stores and hot gluing them down. I then bought some battery powered led lights and sewed them in the respective colors around their ghostly counterparts. I also made some cherry earrings to go with the look by gluing these little cherry pendants I found to a pair of earrings. With the help of friends I was able to get painted yellow and into the ridiculous shoes and at the Halloween party everyone's mouths were literally hanging open. Another successful Halloween.
