Morticia Costume

I am wearing this costume. I you tubed makeup tutorials on Morticia Adams and practiced the makeup and went to Joanns Fabrics and bought black stretch crushed velvet material created with a friend a fitted dress with long sleeves at the bottom had it flare out and cut strips of the crushed velvet fabric and in doing so the strips rolled up like dreads and sewed them all over the bottom. Sewed torn fabric shreds to the sleeves and added fake red nails and black velvet ankle boots. The wig is a black wig from a local wig store..about 25 bucks and it had a soft wave and loose curls so i brushed it till is loosened up and was just a wavy and parted in the middle. Its all about the fit of this dress and getting the right stretch material to hug your body. Really just a tube dress with long sleeves with a circle cut of fabric sewn to the bottom and strips of material added around it. I got the idea from the Adams Family movie and it cost about 100.00 dollars including the wig.
