This homemade costume for women entered our 2020 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Maria, the 'Mona Lisa' costume creator:
I’m wearing the costume. I took a canvas bought from Walmart and painted the Mona Lisa ( or as close as I could get) on it with acrylic paints.
Then I cut three holes in the canvas. One for the face and two for the hands. I bought a simple black dress and a long sleeved tan shirt to wear. I put a black sweater over that and took a black fringed scarf to drape over my hands. Voila! The Mona Lisa comes to life. This took me approximately ten hours to complete.
