Momma's Little Cupcake Costume

My two year old daughter, Kennedy loves cupcakes. I came across the idea on pinterest.com. It was super easy to make. I used pink fleece for the icing, and brown felt for the cupcake wrapper skirt. Nothing is sewn. Everything is either glued on or ironed on with hem-stitch.

She also wanted to be an octopus this year. So, I made 2 costumes. The octopus was very simple. I stuffed batting in ladies knee high socks, superglued them around an old belt and made two eyes out of scrap pieces of soft foam and felt. Then I glued the eyes to a beanie cap. They were both very big hits.
