This homemade costume for families entered our 2020 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Taryn, the 'Moana and Friends' costume creator:
Our girls LOVE the movie Moana, so it was only fitting we would recreate our favorite characters. Mom spent HOURS creating the Te Fiti goddess -hand applying green flowers all over the unitard, as well as the crab monster's crystals. Mom used paper mache and a snow toboggan as the mold frame to create the crab's shell. We even "tattooed" the entire unitard using temporary tattoos for Maui's costume.
