This homemade costume for women entered our 2018 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Isabella, the 'Medusa' costume creator:
This is my take on Medusa. I love Greek mythology and have been wanting to dress up as Medusa for awhile. I made a face prosthetic using tissue, liquid latex, and scar wax. I made the headpiece using 48 rubber snakes, rope, and wire. I sprayed painted it green and then misted over it with gold spray paint. The dress was $4 at a thrift store and I customized it to my liking. It took me about two hours to do the make up.
