A word from Melisa, the 'Max Where the Wild Things Are' costume creator:

This is my little man He is almost 2 and he is wearing his first hand made costume. He is Max from "Where The Wild Things Are." It has always been one of my favourite stories so when halloween came around I thought it would be a perfect costume to make. This is my first custom I have ever sewn so I'm very proud of it! I think I did a great job! The total coast was about $20 so not too expensive at all. I can't really do a how-to as I just made it up as I went along. Most of the design came from looking at pictures. I can't wait to take him out!!

I can't believe they don't sell costumes like this in stores. I spent all winter trying to find little webster a nice costume for next year. I couldn't find one that was half as nice and I would go as far as to say if you're like me that I'd be willing to spend at least $100 dollars on an outfit like this because it goes beyond just being a costume, and looks super cool.
