This homemade costume for boys entered our 2020 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Kristen, the 'Maui' costume creator:
Kyson (5) He had the perfect hair to be Maui. So we got a muscle suit and I hand drew his tattoo’s, then for the leaf skirt I got different green felt and cut and glued them together, tied it together with rope. The hook was very fun to make used a wooden dowel then cut the hook shape out of thick poster board glued it onto the dowel and then rapped rope for the handle. For his necklace I used Crafting foam and cut out shark teeth shape and glows onto thin rope.
