Master Chief Costume

Hello, I am wearing this costume and the picture/s were taken in Atlanta Georgia. I grew up playing Halo split screen since I was 5 or 6 with my friends and I always admired how cool the Spartans were in the game. Over the years I never dropped the series and my costume was fully inspired by the video game franchise. The instructions to build this costume are far too complicated to describe so I would recommend that you go the the 405th website. They have some really good guides that can help you make a costume like mine. But long story short, I had to hand cut hundreds of pieces of EVA foam, heat gun them, barge, and paint to make it into a suit of armor. I also got a wet/diving suit to make it look more realistic. This part was probably the most painful part since I had to hot glue a few pieces of EVA foam and straps onto the undersuit to hold everthing together. FYI a wet suit is great for keeping water out but it does not hold up well against HOT glue lol. Personally winning some prize money would help me a lot. Not only am I a broke college student, this costume (as well as the protoypes) cost me well over $500 to make and about 75 hours of time to actually complete. This is a big hobby of mine, but it is definetly an expensive one so getting any money to help fuel it would be greatly appreciated :)
