This homemade costume for girls entered our 2012 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Shelley, the 'Mary Poppins' costume creator:
My daughter Lindsay is wearing the costume. The costume was made from a sewing pattern purchased at a local fabric store. The umbrella, carpet bag and hat were thrift store finds. She saw the Broadway production in the summer and wanted to be Mary ever since.
