Mary Poppins, Bert and the Penguin Costume

We love this classic movie and thought it would be a great costume! It was so much fun to wear! People of all ages knew exactly who we were and some of the elders said it brought back great memories!
I made the chimney sweeper from an old broom and spray paint.
The hat was a children's summer hat, spray painted and glued on flowers.
The parrot umbrella is made from paper mache and I hand painted the face. It was was simple to make and found all of the out pieces at thrift stores.
