This homemade costume for women entered our 2014 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Donna, the 'Maleficent' costume creator:
Inspired by the movie, "Malificent with Angelina Jolie.
I made the costume using a viking helmet, repositioned the horns and draped fabric over the helmet with added embellishments like lace and ribbons. The cape is made with fabric and wires to hold the collar up. The wings are made with black feathers on top of existing fairy wings. The staff is made with a branch from a tree painted black as well as candle holder and a lit up ball on the inside. The makeup was done to contour the face and finished off with a red lipstick.
