This homemade costume for adults entered our 2012 Halloween Costume Contest.

A word from Summer, the 'Lumpy Space Princess' costume creator:

I am wearing the costume. It was made with corragated plastic, about 6 yards of purple fabric and some spray tacky glue to hold it together. I'm a big fan of Adventure Time and decided that I wanted to be something really neat for Halloween this year. So I decided to be LSP. :-)

Hi! I don't really know what the dimensions are. My husband drew an outline of LSP's body shape onto the plastic and before he cut it out, I layed on it to make sure it was the right size for my height. I'm 5'2. After we figured out the correct size, he traced another one out so we would have two (one for the front, one for the back). The front and back are connected with wide strips of the same corrugated plastic used to make the front and back panels. The eyes and mouth holes were cut out and then covered with a black mesh fabric. In order for me to be able to hold it up, straps were secured inside the costume and I wore them over my shoulders, almost like suspenders. I hope that helps a little!
