This homemade costume for families entered our 2013 Halloween Costume Contest.

A word from April, the 'Lego Family' costume creator:

Our family loves Legos, so we decided to create Lego person costumes this Halloween. Each person in our family chose a Lego figure to fit our personality/interests, and we headed to Lowe's for concrete form tubes, styrofoam, lots and lots of masking tape, spray paint, and Sharpie markers!

Thank you for sharing . I love the costumes! I have an grandson who has Autism and loves Lego"s. Would really like a few more hints as how to make this. Or if there is a pattern that has been made , we are interested .

A lot of people are asking about the heads. to me the heads look like the watering jug thinks you see at offices & work places. those big jug things. they just painted them yellow, painted on the faces & cut eye holes. the part that sticks up for the lego hats to connect onto is where the water would pour down into the cup when you press for it to give you drink so the very top is a breathing hole as well as one at the mouth as you see on the kids
