Labor and Delivery Costume

Costume type:  Costumes for Men
Category:Halloween Costumes

This homemade costume for men entered our 2012 Halloween Costume Contest.

A word from Kevin, the 'Labor and Delivery' costume creator:

I'm wearing the costume. I wanted to do some kind of illusion costume and I hit upon this. I bought scrubs for a couple of dollars at Goodwill, the fake head came from Party City for about $5 and the female mask and other accessories were a couple of dollars too. So overall it cost less than $20 and was the hit of my party. I also had a baby bottle filled with beer to keep me happy.

How did you get the ladys head to stay on and get ur shoulders to be propped up?

To get the head to stay on, I took a wire coat hanger, padded it with socks and duct tape. The hook of the hanger went up into the styrofoam head. I wrapped duct tape over the hanger and under my armpits to hold it down. Wear a T-shirt under the scrubs or you'll lose some body hair.

how is the baby body stuck on your chin or are you just holding it there ?

I used fishing line to hold the baby in place. I think you can see it if you look closely. That way I was able to eat and drink with my hands-free.
