Kurt Cobain & Courtney Love Costume

Come as you are! We are bringing back 90s grunge realness for Halloween 2018. A total DIY creation, our couples costume was inspired by a lifelong passion for grunge music and a recent trip to the Seattle Museum of Pop Culture. I pieced together the costume after Googling several pictures of the infamous couple. And no Kurt & Courtney costume is complete without a dangling fake cigarette and baby Frances Bean. The clothing was curated from a combination of Amazon purchases, hand-me-downs, a recycled shoes – from Slash costume (for my husband’s shoes) and a Snooki costume (my pink punk platforms). I styled the wigs myself. Frances Bean also serves as my purse for the evening. It was one of my top favorite costumes of all time!
