This homemade costume for boys entered our 2018 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Tina, the 'Kirito from Sword Art Online' costume creator:
The Jacket, harness and straps are made from faux leather and piping. The jacket is fully lined with a real pocket. The sword is made from foam with polyurethane coating. The buckles and "metal" part of the harness are also from foam with a clear coat finish. I used a button down boys shirt pattern as a base pattern for the jacket and adjusted for the length and added slits on the side for ease of movement.
