Helicopter Pilot Costume

I made this costume for my son. My 4 year old son Brody is wearing the costume. Our local medical helicopter company is where I got the idea. They fly out of an area near our Buffalo airport. We are able to watch them take off and my kids love them. They transport people to hospitals after car/motorcycle injuries. Brody’s helicopter copies the colors and symbols they use.
I used card board, lots of duck tape, styrofoam, wooden popsicle sticks, and ribbon as suspenders to hold the helicopter on his shoulders. There is a string of battery operated lights inside the cockpit to light it up at night. Also there are pictures of Brody sitting on a chair inside the cockpit. The cockpit has a flat bottom so you can store your candy there as you trick-or-treat! Happy Halloween!
