This homemade costume for girls entered our 2013 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Elaine, the 'Headless Girl' costume creator:
My daughter emily(aged 9) came up with the idea, and is wearing it. Body made from expanding foam, attached to a backpack, with a dress over and head hole cut in stomach of dress. Expanding foam was sprayed into a plastic bag to harden. Fake hands are from a pound tore, sewed into the blouse sleeves, costume covered in blood when done
