Headless Bride Costume

One of my favorites! I, Rosalinda Orozco, am wearing this. This was a simple make. The secret is the backpack. That is what you wear to hold up the dress from behind. Cut a piece of strong cardboard in the shape of a T. Stuff the backpack with light material. I used brown packing/wrapping paper. You will put the card board in the back back. Adjust the T so it will be higher than the backpack. Find the spot where you want your head to poke through and cut it. I cut a hole in the dress big enough so my head will fit through. Put the dress on the T. I used the same brown paper for the neck. Stuff the arms so they have shape. I stapled plastic hands to the sleeves and positioned them to be holding my head. I used fake blood, dirtied the dress a little, and added spiders. Put the back pack on and slide your head through the hole. Voila!
