This homemade costume for kids entered our 2011 Halloween Costume Contest, and won a special prize in the Most Creative Costume nomination!

A word from Cassie, the 'Haunted Graveyard' costume creator:

He went a Haunting in the Graveyard
Our kids wanted to do a haunted theme this year. Here is our 11 year old haunted it up as a Haunted Graveyard. His hill of fright had creatures lurking through a spooky mist, topped with the Grim Reaper floating above his tomb hat. Every year we tend to get a little carried away. This year we took it over the top by incorporating dry ice built into his costume. It was so cool having a mist rolling out of his hill, through his "wrought iron" gate, making you feel like you were really looking at a haunted graveyard. Made with paper mache the costume was fairly light weight. We have 4 kids to make costumes for so we had many a sleepless night to pull them off.

My favorite thing about this costume is the incredible attention to detail. How many hours did it take to complete?
