This homemade costume for boys entered our 2013 Halloween Costume Contest.

A word from Nate, the 'Halo Spartan Armor' costume creator:

The costume was made per request for my son, Nathan. He saw a commercial about Halo and wanted to be Master Chief for Halloween. I looked up online how to make it and found a tutorial using pepakura, which involves folding paper and using resin and fiberglass to harden it. Nathan, who is 10, was able to help me cut and fold the paper and paint the costume. I also installed a few LED lights and a fan inside the helmet to help it not fog up. We padded the interior with foam and had him wear black sweats underneath.

This is one of the best costume I ever seen. It's all hand made very strong and it all started with paper stock and hot glue. amazing.

Hi, I tried using the software but unfortunately I have a Mac and was not able to use it. Do you by any chance have the blue prints that you could share. My son is 10 and I would like to attempt to make one for him. Thanks
