Hag Costume

I am wearing this costume that I made. I was somewhat inspired by the Hexenfest that I visited in Germany as a child. The broom is fashioned after many that I saw being carried in the parade. The make-up was sort of a trial and error, luck of the draw thing. I've never used prosthesis before and I'd say that I got lucky with the nose and chin! The green blanket is an old army blanket that my dad gave to me! The shoes were fashioned after some that I saw as a DIY on Pinterest! I sprayed black hairspray in my hair to make it dark and added a few grey fishnets to my costume to create a raggedy look. Of course I painted my nails black and kept the overspray from the hairspray on my hands because it added a creepy look to it all! My secret to blacking out teeth: waterproof mascara! Works every time and lasts all evening!
