Gru and his Minions Costume

A team costume at worked sparked an idea. We were set to be Minions. I considered buying Maxwell a Minion costume but realized he is our boss, who can be evil at times ;) We bought basic clothes and a scarf for Maxwell. For Daddy Minion we reused overalls from a prior years Mario costume combined with a yellow shirt and beanie with some goggles. Mommy Minions costume is easily store bought. It was a fairly simple and fun costume. The people who got it loved it. The rest looked at us oddly and thought we were confused and dressed ourselves up instead of our toddler.
