This homemade costume for men entered our 2014 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Christopher, the 'GQ Cover' costume creator:
My name's Chris Cowan and I'm also wearing the costume. I came up with this idea about 5 years ago but was finally able to put time & craftsmanship into this year.
Very simple design. Just a big piece of cardboard and cut out with a box-cutter. I used metal wiring outside of the frame so it holds it's structure and doesn't collapse. Then I tied a string to hold it up around my shoulders/neck. After applying some spray paint, typing up some fake article headlines and throwing on a suit -- You're good to go!
