Golden Globe Award Costume

“And the Golden Globe goes to..” costume was really fun! I painted myself gold with a powered body paint, used foam balls and plastic pieces to make the ball and spray painted my hair gold... I became a live Golden Globe Award. I wanted to be an object and after learning of body paint I started to think of being something gold... I tried to get my husband to be an Emmy award but he wasn’t interested in painting himself! This costume was actually pretty easy compared to others I have made, only about $23 in materials (including the dress, which I bought on eBay) and 2 hours of prep time. Washing the body paint off and spray out of my hair was the most time consuming... but worth it!
