This homemade costume for girls entered our 2017 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Stormy, the 'Ghost of Halloween' costume creator:
Bonnie Love (6) decided this year on Halloween (her all time favourite holiday!!) that she wanted to be a ghost! She mentioned she wanted to be scary, beautiful, and didn't mind if all we could do was decorate a sheet. Boy was she suprised when she saw herself in the mirror! She ecstatically rushed off to hide in every corner of the house to spook the socks off everyone!!
We simply watered down some acryllic white paint and spounged her skin all over. Dark purple, brown and grey eyeshadows, and black liquid eyeliner was all we needed to add dimension and teeth to her face -and finally- the glitter really helped bring the beauty element home!! A white dress and a pumpkin for collecting candy was all that was required to tie the costume together!
