This homemade costume for women entered our 2013 Halloween Costume Contest.

A word from Becky, the 'Game Operation' costume creator:

I am wearing my homemade Operation game costume! I loved this game as a child and when I found it online I knew I had to create my own! Too expensive to buy a store bought version. The game pieces I drew by hand on white posterboard, cutout, and duct taped to red posterboard cut out in the same shape.

These were attached to the clothes with duct tape. The tweezers were made by taping the handle with red duct tape. The string is rolled duct tape and looped around my boxers. Below is a price list..

White and Red poster boards - $1.20
Metal tongs - $1
Red duct tape - $1
Red boxers - $2 from a thrift store
Flesh colored shirt - $1 from a thrift store
Flesh colored tights - $4 from Walmart
Flashing red nose - $2 from Michaels
Buzz sound - FREE via app I downloaded on my phone

Such a comfortable costume and it is interactive!! I placed 2nd at my work for funniest/cutest..and 3rd place for most.original/creative! So...yes it is a winning costume! ;)
