A word from Richard, the 'Forest Shaman' costume creator:
The Forest Shaman costume follows the theme of humans living as one with the wild. The bear head is made from plaster and covered in faux fur. The horns are made from paper, acrylic paint, and river clay. The raptor talons and chest plate bones are made from clay and covered in varnish. Twine and wire hold the bones and bird skulls to the bear head. The pants are made entirely out of dried mud, twine, burlap, and moss. The aesthetic elements are influenced by those of African tribal art and Native American culture.
