This homemade costume for babies entered our 2019 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Emily, the 'Elton John and his Security Team' costume creator:
We decided to make our son's first Halloween something special! Lucas is 6 months old and loves when we sing to him. I'm Still Standing is one of his favorites. With Elton John's farewell tour underway, we couldn't think of a better costume! Elton John is one of a kind and expressed himself so creatively.
We were able to put a lot of it together with baby clothes we found at discount stores. Then we tailored it using feathers, boas, glitter card stock and sparkly sunglasses. My favorite part are the platform shoes. We used baby silver sneakers, added spray painted foam for the platform and covered with glitter card stock to get them to pop. We decided to be the security team, protecting Elton from his fans!
