Edward Scissorhands Costume

I love Tim Burton and I thought I was experienced enough at sewing now to try for Edward Scissorhands's more complex outfit. It is made from vinyl and pleather with hand-applied grommets. The scissor hands are made from spray-painted foamcore, hot glued to gloves made from the same vinyl as the costume. I made the shirt pattern myself and used a modified flat-front pants pattern. I cut and styled a Halloween rocker wig and did my own makeup looking at stills from the movie. This was some serious work! I'm very happy with how it turned out. I knew it was ambitious but I'm really proud of the result.
