My Dia De Los Muertos Costume

I LOVE anything Dia De Los Muertos (Day of the Dead)which is a Mexican celebration! I decided to try & create my version of the popular sugar skull character! I bought my dress at a garage sale for $3....my top hat, roses & plastic skull from a second hand store for $2.50, my gloves from a dollar store for $1, I had the belt, wig & halloween make-up! The make-up took me about 2 hours to do, complete with gems that I glued on with spirit gum! For my 'bones', I cut up a couple of meat trays (that your steak or pork chops come on-lol)& drew lil' viens on them with a black marker& then glued them on with spirit gum! I wore nylons with bones on them & embellished a pair of shoes with skulls! I like to wear a costume where no one knows 'who' you are & believe me, no one knew 'who' I was!!!!! I LOVE Halloween....its my favorite time of year! Hope you enjoy my pictures! Thank you! :)
