This homemade costume for boys entered our 2013 Halloween Costume Contest.

A word from Stephanie, the 'Dead Baseball Player' costume creator:

MY son because he likes playing baseball and wanted to dress up as a player so I thought why not cut and real baseball in half and gut it and glue the outside to his head to make it look like it went into it.

Love this! Did it for a costume party. I used spirit gum and also liquid latex around the outside.

She said further up in the post she used spirit gum adhesive and liquid latex. Spirit glue does not seem to work well.
